So that's why the title is The Cat and The Dragon. The mother cat is very much still a part of the story. The world building is really interesting, It feels like a very idealistic step by step development of the world. Look forward to the reunion of mothercat with the dragon!

Wow, I wanna know what else the mother cat raised. I need a whole backstory! The opening and the ending MVs really set the mood too :') such a feel good anime

The mother instincts are so strong, it works perfectly with the narrative in this ep. Wish we'd get more background of the Cait Sith as a race tho soon

Mama cat is such a lovely character 🥹 the laidback vibes of this anime is nicely consistent too~ will definitely keep watching til the end

The adult version of Annerossa becoming the Witch of Frozen Storms made me so happy, since it proves that Mamanyan really knows how to raise a strong child regardless of their species

Mamanyan eating those ice shards like a refreshing snack made me laugh because poor Annerossa was trying so hard and the cat just treated her magic like a little treat

Watching that scary demon show up and immediately start shouting mom was the best laugh especially with how the professors just stood there looking completely lost

Annerossa helping that new girl with the low mana felt like a perfect full circle moment, especially after everything Mamanyan did for her

watching Mamanyan run away from the bath is the most relatable thing ever even if she is a high level magic cat

It was so funny when Mamanyan just ate the ice spell because it was refreshing while Annerossa was trying her best to be serious

the way the greater demon called her mom in front of the whole class was hilarious and the professor looked like his brain stopped working

The cat-mom is an incredibly sweet and kind-hearted character. I wonder how many unusual creatures she has raised so far... that was such an unexpected touch! Fortunately, her summoner turned out to be a good person who also shows immense potential, having managed to summon her on the very first try. I am really excited to see how things develop for her down the line.

We get to know what happened to the cat mom, but I think the first episode was much better than this one, especially since our titular cat dragon isn’t present and not much happens. Still, it’s a good episode since it keeps the good vibes, and the interactions with the cat mom are quite funny to watch.
