I liked the episode even tho I don’t really like Naddy’s vibe. She is kinda weird with wanting everyone to be free and acting like American even tho she is a Japanese.

Just when I thought the backstory could get just a tiny bit more serious... lmao I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up XD the rooftop scene is as absurd as always

Episode Context

A high-energy character-introduction episode built around culture clash and visual comedy. Naddy arrives as the new Japanese-language teacher, blonde, cowboy-clad, star-spangled, and utterly unapologetic about the contradiction she embodies. The humor hits fast and leans hard into the absurdity of her persona versus her subject matter, with Rentaro serving as the audience's bewildered anchor. Beneath the rapid-fire gags and exaggerated teacher-student dynamics, the episode quietly layers in something more grounded: a thread about self-expression and chosen identity that gives Naddy genuine texture beyond the joke. Tonally, expect the show operating at full stylistic throttle, eccentric, affectionate, and briskly paced. Fans of the series' brand of committed absurdity will feel right at home. New viewers get a solid showcase of what this show does best.
