Tamayura: More Aggressive Episode 1: A Year Since I Was Welcomed Home

Un arranque más emotivo de lo que esperaba para abrir la segunda temporada. Desde el principio se siente la energía de los chicos, pero el episodio no va tanto por ahí: se apoya bastante en la nostalgia y en remover cosas de la primera parte. Me gustó que a Fū le reaparezca una amiga que la conoce de verdad, de esas que te leen sin que tengas que explicar nada. Lo que sí me dejó dándole vueltas fue la chica del cartel: tiene un aire raro, medio inquietante, y aunque no encaja del todo con el tono tranquilo, le mete un punto de misterio que no venía venir. Por lo demás sigue siendo ese slice of life pausado y acogedor, con la atmósfera de siempre que te hace sentir parte del pueblo. Se nota el salto de tiempo desde la S1, pero retoma justo donde lo dejó, con ese regusto agridulce que te deja algo melancólico. Si buscas algo cómodo y sin pretensiones, entra muy bien

An emotional start for this anime's second season's episode. Those students are full of energy. This episode leans on reminiscing and deep emotions. It also shows that Fuu has a good friend that got her back, and they also know Fuu too well. That girl on the post gives me a creepy vibe, but it adds mystery to the story.

This is the second season for the Tamayura anime, and so far it was a decent watch. I haven't been watching any slice of life anime for so many years now that stumbling upon this franchise kind of brings me back to a time when I used to watch a LOT of anime back then. That said, it's a very comfy and laidback episode, with an atmospheric tone that makes you feel like you're a part of the town itself. There's a time gap from the first season to this, so it picks up where it left off. Besides the comfy feeling, I feel like there's a sort of bittersweet and mellow vibes to the first episode that I'm getting at. If you are looking for a comfy slice of life anime that isn't too extravagant, I would recommend this show personally.
