The first match of the summer tournament continues. With a riled up opponent, the girls from Shin Koshigaya needs to step up if they want to win the match and proceed with the tournament. A really good first match, that shows much our girls have grown, but most importantly, is really entertaining and fun to watch.
There's a plot about building confidence as well as game-flow and momentum. Unfortunately, I just can't ignore the poor presentation. It's probably the worst in the season so far. There's so much reliance on poor CGI for its visuals it really takes me out of the viewing experience.
There is nothing more to say about the animation. It was totally inconsistent and poor under the unnecessary CGIs. The impact of the batting and pitching was not reached with those stiff and soft spot movements with regard to that quality. Yomi's passion resembles Goro, though. The excitement was at its peak; hence, the intensity of the cliffhanger was anticipated.
