Tamayomi starts its tournament arc with the first game for the Shin Koshigaya girls, a game that might not be as easy as they were hoping for. Facing a team that they have very little data and almost no way to truly prepare for, how can the girls prevail? A really good match starts, with better animations than in previous episodes, but still, could very well benefit from a bigger budget.
Can't say I like this episode very much, especially regarding its visual presentation. There's a reliance on CGI that kinda soured most of the episode for me, even with the nugget of plot about steady improvement in the background.
Well, the CGI animation was back again. Good thing they're not dropping the quality when it's Yomi's turn, but so far, even the running on the bases was kind of weird. The motions were strange and, hopefully, wishing that it had remained in the 2D animation instead. That tense and competitive scene at the end was interesting, though.
