Tamayomi hits its last episode with the conclusion for the second match of the summer tournament and the power of yuri in this episode is off the charts! Even if it is not an yuri anime. Tamayomi hits a nice conclusion to a show that had a lot of potential, but sadly ended up capped by less than average adaptation. With a bigger budget or even a shot at a second season, the show had the potential to be a new long running sports series of this decade, sadly, that ended up not being the case.
A good finale. Although I wished the quality of the show was more consistent throughout. The ending does leave a positive feeling though, with emphasis on the love of the game.
That was a pretty absorbing episode. Yomi's motivation and desperation was like the female version of Goro — a ball of energy and positive outlook. Yoshino's overthinking made the tone down and gloomy. The batting animation has improved on this ep. The emotional ending was heartfelt, though.
