The match against Ryoyukan continues in a tension and pressure filed maner. This episode shows very clearly how hard baseball can be and how terrifying it can be to face a team as powerful as a National’s powerhouse, yet, it is still inspiring to see how the girls from Shin Koshibaya are not giving up and doing their all to win.
Somewhat of an improvement in visuals. I wouldn't gripe so much about it if the show is consistent about it, but alas. It does show the difference of level in high-level competition and how fierce it can be. It's both part motivating and intimidating.
That ending scene's animation was rather good. Also, I commend the pitching of Yomi here. That slow-motion, picture-perfect quality was so cool. Hence, the CGI animation remains as the chibi-like movement of the characters. Hence, the team remained solid, and the tone was serious as the climax was nearing its end.
