Huh, okay this is interesting. As a mecha-nerd myself I am kinda surprised I didn't hear about this anime at the time of release. The premises are still ambigous, but the retro-cyber vibes of the world certainly has it's own flair. Episode one is a classic boy-meets-girl trope, with some greatly animated combat scene. 7.5/10.
Even from just episode 1, the storytelling is already quite interesting. The visuals are high quality, and the action scenes are really impressive. It instantly lifted my mood and made me want to finish the whole anime in one night.
