Huh, okay this is interesting. As a mecha-nerd myself I am kinda surprised I didn't hear about this anime at the time of release. The premises are still ambigous, but the retro-cyber vibes of the world certainly has it's own flair. Episode one is a classic boy-meets-girl trope, with some greatly animated combat scene. 7.5/10.
