Synduality Noir

Hmm, while the episode did wrap up the first season nicely, I can't help but feel it was a bit anticlimactic as they didn't animate Mystere introduction more explosively. It's a slight nit-pick, but affected my score nonetheless. The ground is set-up adequately for future plot, I'll be watching it soon enough.

Penultimate episode, everything arranged adequately as Drifters across Nest joined the defense of Rock Town. High-octane action scene with some foreshadowing from the mysterious organization side. Pacing, Visual and Writing is up there, soundtrack feels a little lacking though.

We finally got some background hint as to why Tokio is so concerned about Kanata, acting like his big brother all this time. The sense of approaching danger and emotional weight is the heaviest so far, writing quality really gets an upgrade in this episode.

I did some research about the series timeline and lore stuff, I didn't expect this Alba guy had such a big impact overall. While the episode is watchable from standalone point, I think you would get more satisfaction if you do some research on it first. 6/10.

A completely unnecessary fanservice episode, but if you were here to enjoy just not the main plot or mecha action scene, you will enjoy this one. It really gave both Ellie and Kanata a touch of character depth instead of just another childhood friend side character. Can't give a Ciel singing episode a bad one, so I give this one an 8 from the vibes alone.

The greatest episode so far. The fighting scene added with Ciel singing a song really reminds me of Macross combat sequence, it was beautiful. There were tense moments there considering the foreshadowing we were shown but I hope Ciel doesn't go with it. 9/10.

A slightly tense but cliched set up episode, but engaging nonetheless. Tokio and Mouton keeps cracking me up though, their chemistry really makes that unintentional comedic duo. Visual and pace is adequate, writing is rather subpar.

Plot wise? Not very important, but the foreshadowing of a mysterious organization looking for Zero Type Magus do feel a plot point we'll be looking forward from now on. Plenty of lighthearted fanservice too when a kuudere like Noir take the initiative to get closer with Kanata.

A bit of sneak-peek to Noir past and a lighthearted yet important learning session for Kanata. We keep getting shoved with more jargons though, I don't like it too much when they giving us more info dump without meaningful explanation. Visual and pacing is standard, but world building writing can use some work.

Here comes the mysterious rival, a surprisingly airheaded cool hunk. His short interaction with Kanata made me blurt out a few times lmao. I suppose he's the main attraction of this episode, but the lore and world building is still insufficient to be engaging. I hope they give us more explanation soon.

An appropriate pacing, this episode is really more of a chemistry in the making for Kanata and Noir. It's certainly slow, but it is a necessary fresh start for the relationship to feel more natural and gives it an emotional depth. 7/10.

Huh, okay this is interesting. As a mecha-nerd myself I am kinda surprised I didn't hear about this anime at the time of release. The premises are still ambigous, but the retro-cyber vibes of the world certainly has it's own flair. Episode one is a classic boy-meets-girl trope, with some greatly animated combat scene. 7.5/10.

Creo que me preocupe en vano al ver a Ciel, pero al mismo tiempo no confio en ella para nada, me confunde bastante xd

Bueno pero que rayos fue eso que pasó cuando Tokyo estaba mas pequeño, los ojos de Kanata lucen demasiado diferente, el episodio estuvo cool!

Nada mal el capitulo! El nuevo personaje es bastante interesante pero al mismo tiempo un poco egolatra xd, el pobre Kanata solo es amable

Bueno, es un capitulo normalito aunque si me gustó que se relajaran un poco y fueran a disfrutar un dia normal en piscina

A rock solid wrap up to the first half of the season! This show has honestly just been a blast of fun characters and great action and even if it's not the deepest story out there, this finale laid down some awesome groundwork for the future.

With only one episode left, I’m really curious how they plan to wrap everything up especially with the remaining threads like the city of Histoire still in play.

This episode really feels like a turning point where the story starts to properly catch up with all the character setup we’ve had so far. The appearance of an apocalyptic horde also adds a strong sense of urgency and direction that give the plot a real purpose moving forward.
