episode 2 this one slows down a bit but the emotional tension here actually harder than any fight scene and the feeling something bad is lurking everything the dialogue heavy but never dull

Suka banget sama karakternya Zenji disini lucu banget wkwk. Jinya keren banget sih mana ganteng pula hehehe. Gak nyangka banget bakal ada plot twist woy! Udah salah paham banget aku dari awal episode huhu ternyata beliau tidak sejahat itu huhuhu.

This episode was great! The fact that we get to see Jinta return to his home with a new idea on life is interesting. Also, I feel like this anime explore the nuance of the human experience through the existence of demons.

Episode Context

Following the premiere's focus on Jinta's transformation and departure from Kadono Village, this second episode executes a significant time jump to reposition the story in Edo, effectively closing the origin chapter and opening the main narrative. As episode 2 of 24, it's clearly laying foundational groundwork for the broader season, introducing key players like Natsu and establishing Jinya's new circumstances. The shift from rural origins to urban intrigue signals the show is scaling up its scope for the long haul.
