This anime has every moment interconnected, even the small time tasks of Jinya. We got a rare Suzune appearance and Shirayuki resurgence!

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact halfway mark of the 24-episode season, Episode 13 concludes the two-part 'Lingering Snow and Drunken Dreams' storyline that began in Episode 12 with the introduction of the cursed sake. It deepens the psychological and supernatural stakes established in the first half while setting the foundation for the arcs that will define the season's back half. This is a pivotal transition point, resolving immediate tensions while planting seeds for what comes next.
