I would recommend this anime to anyone who loves food, as it beautifully showcases another side of Hiroshi's character.

Haruka's imagination is on another level and her delusions never fail to make me laugh. It's such a small world that she and Hiroshi keep running into each other, yet only Haruka remembers him while Hiroshi has no idea who she is.

The soba restaurant scene was absolutely hilarious the way they kept stacking the soba bowls made me want to try some too. Hiroshi's interaction with the kebab vendor was equally funny and made the episode even more entertaining.

I was really happy to see biryani featured in this episode, especially chicken biryani is my favorite. I also love how the anime showcases cuisines from around the world and Kawaguchi's behavior throughout the episode added plenty of hilarious moments.

I really enjoy the dynamic between Hiroshi Nohara and Akitake Takatone. Their conversations feel natural, engaging and full of charm and I also admire Hiroshi's genuine passion for food.

Watching Hiroshi share a meal with his colleague is both relaxing and enjoyable. As always, the food visuals are beautifully crafted, making every dish look incredibly appetizing.

This was an underrated comedy, slice-of-life anime that was a hidden gem in the gourmet genre. I loved the simplicity of the animation and plot, but the CGI in the OP made me not so impressed. The ED was somehow pretty great, though. I like how they mixed the animation from 2D to live one, and that actual photo and video of the food was totally mouthwatering! You will be hungry and crave food watching this anime. Highly recommend!

This was a pretty satisfying ending and I can't wait for S2! The pacing from the beginning was slow as the characters' moods were worried. The plot building gradually took effect and became lively as the misunderstandings were fixed. I like how Hiroshi applied his words of encouragement to Kawaguchi with the Okonomiyaki. All is well and that actual "Gochisousama deshita" was seen in animation.

I was a little bit disappointed with the ep as it focused on work-related matters, particularly Hiroshi's relationship to his team members. The tone was serious and the tension was high, as his people were having contradicting ideas and opinions. But that mountainous sunny side-up egg was mouthwatering! The drawing-the-line scene was hilarious! And that ending cliffhanger was just a start of Kawaguchi's arc. The pacing somehow got slowed down in this ep.

I absolutely loved this episode. Hiroshi's passion for food is incredibly enjoyable to watch and Haruka's hilarious delusions added the perfect dose of comedy, making the episode even more entertaining.

It was quite a mellow mood episode and the pacing was much slower in this one. The uncomfortable tone when Hiroshi and his workmates were eating together was straining and felt that relatable struggle. The animation was exceptional as the live video was truly soothing to my eyes and ears. It was refreshing to watch Hiroshi eating in a much more comfortable and cozy setting.

It was a pretty entertaining ep, especially it featured my top two foreign cuisines, personally. The side story tone with Haruka was clichéd but constantly comical. Felt hungry watching that first half, though! Hiroshi's ignorance of Haruka's wild mind was worth watching. The unfazed face of Hiroshi had kind of had this unsettling, creepy vibe, though.

I had mixed emotions watching this ep, particularly in that ending scene. I thought for a second the family was very far away, too. That was a funny twist! The first half was dragged out but in a good way. The scenes were fast-paced in that soba house and Hiroshi had no time to talk! That Hiroshi cow-head was sooo funny!

It was an absorbing episode. I really liked how they spotlighted another specialty dish from a country. Hopefully, I can see more international cuisines like this one. Kawaguchi's behavior in this ep was cute and funny, though, just like a kodomo. The return of one of the supporting characters that had a big impact on this series with her thinking was comical as usual. The character dynamics in this ep perfectly suit each other's personalities.
