EPISODE REVIEWS

The budget-friendly dining concept in this episode felt highly relatable, as it's something most people have experienced. The food visuals were beautifully animated, with the fried chicken looking especially mouthwatering.

It was a bittersweet ep, especially in that second half. Watching this makes me crave Japanese food, too. I literally can relate to both stories, though. It was a relatable pinch situation and saddening emotions. The karaage visual was so yummy, mouth-watering color palettes and the crispiness was clearly focused. So far, I really liked the plot of the series, and I can't wait for more recipes.

Hiroshi panics and sweats nervously when he realizes he has no cash or coins to pay for his meal.
