Strike Witches: The Movie

La verdad estuvo buena la pelicula, hay nostalgia por el reencuentro del escuadron al reunirse de nuevo, y la animacion esta bastante bien. Cuando Yoshika recupera los poderes estuvo bien animado, aunque la trama de los Neuroi es un poco predecible.

From the very first minute, it was clear that this was going to be an epic battle, judging by the way it was executed. The relentless barrage of attacks added to the tense atmosphere. The visuals captured the escalating chaos in the sky whilst the tactics were being executed. At certain moments, it also offered some refreshing scenic views. The entire narrative was flawless, without missing a single beat. Anyone who followed the previous season will certainly be satisfied with this film.

Like the poster talk about a breath of fresh air. The opening was how all movies should start. Even if you haven't seen the show you see can understand what is going on, and enjoy fo what's worth. I'm a firm believer in show don't tell, and this movie lives up to that creed. The visuals are spectacular the 3d models blended in so well with the background at times I thought they could have drawn them instead and nobody would have known the difference! The armies seem to be push overs if not cannon fodder to delay the Nueroi until the magical girls come in for the save. One other thing to note the very main character inexplicably received a wound though she did back flips with her head, she should be paralyzed or at the very least concussed. Not bleeding from some unknown wound. Overall a great movie to pass the time for casuals, and gun enthusiasts alike. It's thrilling and gives the right amount of screen time for each of it's many cast members showing us just the right amount of their personalities. Though for people like me who haven't seen the series it would've been better to focus more on the girls who'd have more of an impact throughout the movie, rather than a role call I liked the American girl bad she didn't have a bigger role to play in the movie, or the German girls Hartmann, and Barkhorn. Perhaps they were there to tease the audience into giving the series a shot in the end they won me over!

That is the ultimate guilty pleasure show dilemma! It completely leans into ridiculous ecchi tropes and nonsense plot, but the charm, cute character dynamics, and pure fun factor make it impossible to drop. It’s definitely mind-numbing trash in the best way possible you just turn off your brain and enjoy the ride.
