Brave Witches

Wow, what a way to end the series. Overall, I enjoyed Brave Witches. The unique premise, likeable characters, and incredible battle scenes made it quite an adventure to watch through and through. Although that's the last we'll see of the Brave Witches, at least plenty still more to explore in the world of Strike Witches!

The final battle has begun, and the 502nd about to take on their biggest and most dangerous enemy yet! With so much at stake, it's now a do-or-die situation. With so much action and explosions going on, this really does feel like the fate of the world hangs in the balance. An excellent, fast-paced episode, and I can't wait to see how it ends!

After being absent for most of the series, we finally see Hikari's sister Takami wake up and join in on the action. Unfortunately, for some reason, Takami acts coldly towards Hikari, and this rivalry sets the tone of the episode. It's an emotional episode that makes me feel bad for Hikari, but also shows how strong she's gotten as the series progressed. You go Hikari, never give up!

This episode almost made my eyes sore because I didn’t want to blink. Every scene kept me hooked, and I didn’t want to miss a single moment. It was an absolutely amazing ending, filled with excitement and emotion. The journey of the characters was worth watching from start to finish. See you next season!

Takami showed the same determination as Hikari, which helped bring the team together even more. The episode made me feel like I was right there in the scene. The visuals were great too.

This episode had a lot of emotion. Hikari and Takami are really great when fighting Neuroi, and this episode proved it. The whole team was amazing and made the fight scenes even more enjoyable to watch.

I was really into the fight scenes in this episode. They were exciting and definitely worth watching. The teamwork and tandems between the characters were impressive, and everyone played their role well during the battle. It made the action even more enjoyable.

After a slow-paced episode came a much more intense one. An unexpected twist happened during the battle against the Neuroi that Hikari and the others were fighting.

Very solid episode overall. Despite me not liking Kanna at first, she grew on me as the series progressed, and it's great to see her in the spotlight now! High stakes, great battles, and excellent character development, this episode has everything! Probably in my top 5 favorite episodes of the series so far!

The episode focuses on Krupinski, Kanno, Nipo, and Hikari, heading towards Murmansk to protect a naval fleet. It primarily shows the four witches having fun as well as experiencing unfortunate mishaps along the way. Not really much else to say and it's not one of my favorite episodes, but the battle scenes are amazing as always. I do want to see more of serious Krupinski though!

This episode is mostly a nice little slice of life, with each of the witches wanting to throw a festival for Hikari, who just caught a fever. Seeing the 502nd having a fun time after all the battles they've been through makes for a relaxing, vibrant atmosphere that makes me feel like I was part of that festival. Definitely worth making a hot cocoa just for this episode!

This episode felt like a day off for all the characters until an unexpected Neuroi appeared. It was nice to have a slower-paced episode that still gave meaningful moments for everyone. The soft soundtrack also made the episode feel more special.

This episode was a little slow for Hikari, but it gave the perfect opportunity for Zsa-zsa’s character development. The strategy and teamwork shown here were really good.

The friendships among the characters continue to grow, and it’s good to see everyone gradually warm up to Hikari. The action scenes were exciting and kept me engaged throughout the episode.

Last episode, we saw Hikari with Georgette and Sada. This time, she is with Sasha and Nipa, trying to protect the city. It also delves into some of Sasha's secrets as well as her friendship with Nipa. I really like the flying scenes in this one, particularly when they were flying through the dizzying streets of the city. It's a high-flying, emotional episode that's one of my favorites so far!

After a recon mission gone awry, Hikari and her squad mates Sada and Georgette are now in a battle for survival, as they are stuck in a dangerous blizzard. Along the way, we see both Sada and Georgette getting along with Hikari, which makes for some great moments with them together. It's great to see some new characters being fleshed out, and I'm hoping to see more of them more!

In this episode, Hikari's career with the 502nd is on the line. Hikari must prove to her squadron mates that she is able to fight within 7 days, or she will need to go homie. Despite the difficult challenges Hikari faces, she is highly determined with an indomitable willpower. In my opinion, a good episode overall that shows a lot of development for Hikari!

This episode showed how strong motivation can push you to reach your goals. The story was nice, and it was one of the better episodes for me.

After the intense second episode, this episode was small breath of fresh air, as it shows Hikari getting acquainted in heir new base and her squad mates (well, most of them). It is a bit slow at first, but it does pick up in the later parts. It's also making me root for Hikari even more now. You go get them, Hikari!

Wow, this episode pulled no punches. As Karibuchi and Takami were on their way to Europe, they find themselves under attack by the Neuroi. What follows is a crazy, dizzying, and fast-paced aerial battle to the death. I was left pretty amazing at what I witnessed, and I'm only in the second episode! I can't wait to see what happens next!
