Strike Witches 2
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Six months have passed since the victorious Battle of Britannia and the reclamation of Gallia from Neuroi invaders. Yoshika Miyafuji, member of the famed 501st Joint Fighter Wing, has come back home to Fuso and graduated from middle school. However, her fight is far from over. She receives a letter supposedly sent by her long-deceased father, containing blueprints of a state-of-the-art Striker Unit he had been working on before his death. The Unit, designed specifically for Yoshika, might be capable of harnessing her extraordinary magical powers. Meanwhile, a new threat in Europe is rising. A Neuroi nest of an unprecedented size and might has appeared over Venezia, wiping out local Witch forces and instantly swallowing the northern part of the country. To make matters worse, a newly spotted humanoid type of Neuroi is attempting to come into contact with humans. Yoshika, incapable of abandoning her friends on the front lines, must once again venture to the war-torn continent.

The characters make immense sacrifices here. The ending leaves a lasting impression and the development becomes increasingly compelling. The unity among the characters makes the action even more epic, heightening the excitement. The battles are visually stunning and effectively convey the characters emotional turmoil. The exploration of themes is spot on, perfectly illustrating maturity, hard work, and self acceptance. Overall, this is an absolutely brilliant story that is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys uplifting tales.
Sakamoto’s resolve has a profound impact on the development of his protege. As the story builds towards its tense climax, this thought provoking episode presents a narrative that really makes you think. The characters anxieties are portrayed in an emotional and profound manner. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed too, but I’m increasingly curious to find out how it will end. His struggle is truly epic.
I absolutely love Commander Minna, her aura when she’s in command is just so cool! I also find Hanna and Barkhorn's bickering so endearing, it’s genuinely entertaining! There’s such a diverse range of characters, which really enhances the epic yet meaningful storyline. Watching their squabbles is quite tense too. On top of that, the battles are absolutely epic, and the background music adds to the tense atmosphere.
The visuals at the beginning of the episode are a real treat for the eyes. The characters development is also becoming increasingly apparent, thanks to their individual efforts and hard work. Perrine's efforts in particular really moved me. It's a truly meaningful endeavour for a character to undertake. This episode also features a thought provoking mystery. It provides a welcome break from all the action. The ending is quite emotional too.
Sakamoto is absolutely cool in this role. The characters are portrayed with such sincerity that it really brings the story to life. Seeing Miyafuji’s abilities in action is quite nerve wracking. The plot is fairly steady, but it’s told really well. The constant sense of tension makes the atmosphere even more gripping. The fight scenes are epic, and the visuals really bring them to life.
After such a long wait, it’s absolutely hilarious that they’ve finally managed to organise a healing retreat! Even the storyline involves the characters working hard to achieve their goals. It’s perfect for a young spirit. I never expected the enemy to be such a hassle, this episode had me in stitches😂
A great finale for this episode. It continues the grim and devastating plot from previous episode. To see how all of the characters have their moments in this episode and how they cooperate with each other during the finale battle make me in awe with how awesome they are!
Wow this episode sure make a major U-turn now. The plot seems heavy now and we focus on the major plot from the first episode. I like how grim this episode is. Seeing how devastated Mio is in this episode makes me sad with how desperate she really is in order to accomplish her personal wish as well.
When I though that the plot has come to it's course again, it seems I was a bit disappointed as we are introduced to a new character late in this episode. We did not have any proper move towards the main plot yet.
A good episode. This time it's a "beach" vibe episode which is the usual setting for an anime. To see how Mio became "drunked" in this episode is very funny lol because of how she potrayed herself as someone who disciplined and composed.
I like this episode as it focus on Yoshika again. We can see Yoshika got a bit of power up as well in this episode which I found quite interesting as well. However, I hope there is more varieties of enemies as well introduced because so far for me the enemy is too bland and there is no depth to them for me to connect with.
LMAO this episode was really funny as I did not expect the enemy to be that small. But I can see that this episode have a lot of fan-service which is I'm not quite fond of.
This episode makes me cry a bit towards the end of the episode. The plot has progress more smoothly and we back to the main plot of this anime. Although the ending is quite bland in my taste, however the flow and I can relate with each of the characters made this episode great in my opinion.
A refreshing episode. This episode lean more towards a chilling atmosphere as we get to see the Witches interact with each other. I kinda like this episode because there's a lot of supporting characters in this episode and most of them I get to see for the first time as well and I get to know more about them.
A great episode! This episode resolve more around Shirley and Gertrud. I like how from this episode we can see moe of their characteristics and how they compete with each other every time lol. Again, a great episode with some battle scenes as well!
Looks like we have a training arc in this episode. I kinda like it because it makes me more appreciate with some of the newly introduced characters as well. Moreover, we get to know more about the world of the Stike Witches as well from this episode.
This episode seems more interesting as we can see the battle between the Witches and the Neuroi. The battle scenes were well done and I like how I can see what Mio and Yoshika are capable of in this episode.
The plans and tactics made me think twice, but they were brilliant. The structure was excellent, and the characters delivery was very natural. I absolutely loved the sky in this episode too, the visuals were beautiful. It was quite emotional, and I was taken aback by it. The background music really set the mood. I was also moved by the ending.
So far I think I understand the plot of the anime quite a big. Some major characters were also introduced in this episode. Hopefully the plot of the anime is good and I can see there is a bit of fan-service as well in this anime. Hopefully the fan-service is not too much and focus more on the plot. Let's wait and see!
Wow this is such a feel good episode! We get to see the team out and about. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and so refreshing. It's just the thing to watch after being worn out by all the tactics and action! It really has that holiday vibe, and it's great fun to watch too. The narrative isn't at all heavy and is perfect for a relaxed viewing session. The ending of this episode really sticks with you, and the atmosphere is heartwarming🥰
