This episode had a pretty unsettling start. I liked how the darker moments made things feel more serious, especially with the tension around the main character. It gave the episode a different feel and made the situation more interesting to watch. I’d be down for more episodes that lean into this kind of darker tone.
This episode was certainly disturbing. From the poor bull, to the obsession with beauty, and stalking, the new character was totally a lunatic. The subs were kind of confusing, as Vega's name was changed to Balrog. I don't know if it's the subtitles only, but the people calling him Balrog or Vega was too distinct. I mistook Ryu's blushing on the stage for being drunk, but I only exaggerated a bit.
I can't believe they went all the way to Barcelona just to have to deal with a creep. This Vega was already trouble when they introduced him and now he's just in their way doing creep shit. You know, despite this bull fight display being fictional, I still felt sad for it. I think we can move on once we get rid of this idiot. Shouldn't take too long.
