This was a fun episode to watch. I liked seeing the main character finally make some real progress, and the way that growth was shown made the episode stand out. The mix of action and imagination also worked well for me without taking away from the story. I hope we get more episodes like this.
Finally, the first strike of that legendary move. I thought I was watching Naruto with that waterfall and chakra talk. The animation was great in this ep, particularly the focus on Ryu's attempt to control his power. The pacing was just okay in this ep, without rushing everything to wrap up Dhalsim arc.
Yeeeesssss, finally, the hadouken I wanted to see. The whole India arc was pretty fucking good with the minimal amount of training displayed. It sure took a while but Ryu managed to get something out of it at the end. We probably won't see it in action so soon but this is a step in the right direction. Really wonder what's gonna be up next with the new location reveal.
