This final episode is totally perfect. The big play finally happens and the acting looks incredible. Kokona has to give everything she has to reach her goal. The songs are so good and the ending makes me very happy. I love this show so much.
This episode is very emotional. We finally learn about Kokona and her past. Shizuka helps her remember a very important promise from when she was little. It makes their bond even stronger. I almost cried watching them figure things out together.
Things are getting very serious now. The group picks a huge new play for the fall. Everyone wants the main role and they start fighting for it. Shizuka starts to feel sad about just watching from the shadows. The drama is super intense right now.
This episode is a fun vacation for the girls. They go to the beach and we get to see what they do in their free time. Kathrina meets her famous mom and gets some good advice. It is a very relaxing episode before the next big play starts.
This episode is a nice break from the heavy drama. Panda and Chisa take the spotlight this time. They put on a super fun version of Romeo and Juliet for some kids. It is very cool to see how their magic acting powers work together on stage.
This episode is so freaking amazing. Kokona is having a hard time on stage, she is so tiny compared to Yae. At last she learns to believe in herself. The songs in the play are great to listen to. The ending of the play is beautiful.
The Arabian nights play finally begins. Kokona is the star but she’s having trouble standing out. Yae is so good she steals the whole show. Kokona forgets why she wanted to act in the first place. Hope she gets it sorted soon.
This episode opens a whole new play for the group. Kokona has a huge part and she is very nervous. The other girls are crazy about the casting. We also learn a hard and fast rule concerning the age limit for actors. It’s very fun to watch.
This is a big episode. Kokona and Kathrina also spend time together outside of acting. Nice to see them getting better friends. The big acting scene is crazy and shifts everything for Kokona. I’m so excited for next episode.
This episode is so good. They put on their first real play together. Kathrina gets the lead role and acts super tough. The big stage performance looks totally beautiful with crazy magic effects. I love seeing the girls act on a real stage.
Kokona moves into her new dorm and meets everyone. It's really cool to see her copy other people to act better. The other girls are not sure of her ability yet. I can't wait to see her prove them wrong.
this first episode is so much fun and so pretty looking. Kokona really wants to be a star but she's having trouble. The audition scene is great and the girls have these crazy magic acting powers. I really like the main pairing.
ABSOLUTE CINEMA, THEY DIDNT WASTE A SINGLE BUDGET ON THIS ONE BRO. LAST EPISODE ??!?! YEAGHHHH DESERVED A MOVIE NGL, IT WAS SO PRETTY AND BEAUTIFUL... JUST LIKE THE WAY ART IS.... KOKONA THE GOAATTTT!!! Where do i start... Music ? 9/10 Cinematography ? even if it's an animation imma give it a fricking 9.4/10 VA's also nailed it. GAH DANG I FELT LIKE WATCHING A TRUE FORM OF THEATER.
Just my opinion, but Shizuka's moment was kinda... mid... Okay, if I keep talking, it's gonna turn into a spoiler, so I'll leave the lore at that. Instead, let's talk about the animation. It's so damn good. No, seriously- they absolutely nailed how the " Phantom" should be portrayed. It was so cool seeing Kokona surrounded by all that lighting and those highlights. God damn...
HUH ? EY KATHRIN CHILL OUT 😭😭😭 Tbh, this episode was beautiful in the way it portrayed the Phantom. It subtly showed how a single character can be interpreted so differently by different people. Erm... my bad for criticizing this one scene where Kokona was acting alone, but it looked just slightly off. Not by much, just a little. It was probably because of the camera angle or the background. But the rest are insanely well done. Yeah, that's pretty much all I have to say about this episode. Now it's time to move on to the final 2 episodes.
AW SHI, LOOK WHO'S HERE TODAY!!! Damn, what an episode... We finally got to see just how powerful these "World Dai Stars " really are. This might sound exaggerated, but I was genuinely stunned while watching the QTE performance. It was way too spectacular. That said, I still don't understand the age gap between Theresa and Shamo. Weren't they in their prime during the same era? If so, why is the difference in their aging so noticeable? This episode was the perfect setup for some wholesome mother-daughter bonding time. ❤️
Oh ? Romeo & Juliet ? That's a pretty classic love story. For elementary school students, it's definitely a great drama to watch. Honestly, kids these days probably wouldn't enjoy this kind of play, they'd rather stare at their iPad instead. Jeez... if only art could be expressed this freely in real life. This anime also does a great job of making us think about how art can be interpreted and expressed in so many different ways. Beautiful, isn't it? It really is. This episode perfectly captures the innocence of children... ALSO, WTF? SO YAE WAS AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENT TOO?!??! I THINK I MISSED HER LORE 😭😭 btw exclusive ending song (PEAK)
AEYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWW HOW CAN AN EPISODE BE THIS GOOD?!??! WHAT WAS THE STUDIO COOKING?!?!!?! WHAT THE HELL DID THEY FEED THEM WITH?!?! Not a single frame was wasted on pointless bullshit. Every scene had a purpose and pushed the story forward. The rotoscoped animation was absolutely gorgeous it honestly felt like watching Da Vinci paint the Mona Lisa at the time... No, but seriously, this episode completely blew past my expectations. Kokona's awakening truly hit in this episode, and we got to see that she wasn't willing to back down even a single step. That's exactly how her "Ego" works.
WHAT A DAMN CONCEPT THEY HAD!!!! I already liked this anime, but this episode just showed me how creative its story can be, holy sheet it was a pretty way to tell a story💀✌ Everything was subtle, yet it carried a really meaningful message. This episode is the true definition of "Rebellion". We'll probably see someone awaken in the next episode. Mark my words episode 7 is finna be goated as hell. Also the song in this ep is so beautiful fr. Hope we can hear the full ver in the next episode.
No cap, what Yae did in this episode was actually a genius move. She's helping Kokona from internal factor, and honestly, she really deserves the title of "Dai Star." The story is still progressing consistently from the previous episodes. They've introduced a new play, "Arabian Nights" which is honestly a pretty goated story. I really hope Sirius can pull off an amazing performance on this story... And if you're wondering why my reviews have been getting a bit less funny lately, it's because this anime isn't really comedy focused. It's mostly about the character development of every Sirius member. The closest comparison I can think of is Imas:CG, it gives me a very similar vibe.
