This episode is very emotional. We finally learn about Kokona and her past. Shizuka helps her remember a very important promise from when she was little. It makes their bond even stronger. I almost cried watching them figure things out together.

Just my opinion, but Shizuka's moment was kinda... mid...Okay, if I keep talking, it's gonna turn into a spoiler, so I'll leave the lore at that.Instead, let's talk about the animation. It's so damn good. No, seriously- they absolutely nailed how the "Phantom" should be portrayed. It was so cool seeing Kokona surrounded by all that lighting and those highlights. God damn...

okay a big applaud in how they showed kokona's backstory (past) while retaining their focus as an musical stage acting anime. legit tearing a bit for this episode
