Waking up back from the alpha timeline, Okabe finds himself in the hospital, but thankfully he was successful in getting back to beta timeline where the search for what happened and those trying to kidnap Kagari continues. His search leading to only one conclusion after he finds out that World War III could be closer than he ever thought.

This episode felt mellow for me, even though it introduced stakes and major plot points for future progression. The past few episode formats all felt like they were building anticipation for the next one, only for said next episode to fall flat and do the same. It's like a rollercoaster that keeps going up; I feel the lack off tension already because of how dragged out it is.

Suzuha's desperation during the roof scene reminded me of how unpredictable her character is, alongside the importance of her mission. (still kinda confused on why she's in this timeline though) within this beta world line, her story seems to have completely changed.

Government forces having access to time travel was intriguing to think about! I hadn't given it much thought when Suzuha mentioned WW3 earlier, but the subject piqued my interest when the idea of time manipulation came into play. Looks like this series will be turning towards the subject, so future episodes focused on avoiding calamity will be entertaining!

Suzuha is becoming increasingly desperate, and it is heartbreaking to see her like that. Kuroki's inability to escape Maho's madness makes the whole situation even funnier but more tragic.
