Steins;Gate 0 Episode 7: Eclipse of Vibronic Transition: Vibronic Transition

Another attack from the rounders… Or were they? While they looked the same as the rounders of the alpha timeline, this time things might be different? In an effort to protect Kagari and uncover the truth, Okabe makes a gamble and asks for help to the only person he knows that could be a force to be reckoned with.

The cogs of the story are in full swing, but something really feels missing. The absence of Kurisu during such a dire situation changes up the group dynamic by a lot. The episode also feels pretty stagnant in comparison to the pacing of the 2011 series, and loses a little of its charm.

Pretty confused on what timeline this is in tbh, so many changes to the original story that make the story convoluted. I wonder what the situation on time travel is like at this point, but that aspect is largely re-introduced in this episode.

For some reason, I never realized how out of the loop Ruka was. His appearances in the series are minimal, but for some reason in this universe Feyris is in on their whole time travel thing??
