The background characters look a bit wonky and lazily drawn. It's still a little slow, but the hype is definitely starting to build.

Yamato's launch is awesome. The entire sequence feels surprisingly realistic. It's exciting to finally see Yamato set off on its journey. That said, I'm not really a fan of Kodai's beef with Okita. They're in the middle of a war, and casualties are inevitable, so his resentment feels a bit hard for me to swallow.
