Does this count as the mandatory beach episode? We get to know a bit more about Akane, which is nice. Also, seeing Gridman combine with other of his "toys" as described by Akane (which would definitely be marketable if this were a tokusatsu show) is a visual spectacle as always.
I'm feeling like every episode is going into the same path. They are giving us some information to understand the main lore but It's becoming monotonous: Another Kaiju appears, a fantastic battle between them and Gridman... I hope the next episodes give us more information.
My drill is the drill that’ll pierce the heavens!!! They had action, suspense, references galore, homages, and they even had cake. The Kaiju boy is an interesting deuteragonist at least till he opens his mouth. I hope he experiences character development soon. Overall a top ten episode quite a hilarious one too!
