EPISODE REVIEWS
An episode that focuses more on the feelings of the characters (because we have to remember that after all, everyone is a high schooler). It feels weird seeing romance in my mecha anime but it was properly implemented to develop both the characters and the plot.
We're having something going on in this episode! It was a perfect mix of battles and teenager problems, because at the end of the day, that what they are. I'm hoping more development of this situations in the next episodes!
This episode took the series up a notch. From here on out I will be expecting even more fantastical Kaiju battles! We learn more about the inexplicable link between the Gridman alliance, along with its strengths, and weaknesses. The animation is still solid, and the art style is lovely, especially the bright sunny days we get to see in some episodes, it’s a visual treat.
