📖 SYNOPSIS
All 13-year-old Luluco wants is to be normal, which is already a losing battle when you live in Ogikubo — Earth's only intergalactic immigration zone where aliens and humans share grocery stores and school hallways. Things get worse when her Space Patrol officer dad accidentally freezes himself solid, and Luluco breaks him in half trying to help. Now she's been drafted by Over Justice, a literal flaming skeleton in a uniform, to serve as an undercover Space Patrol officer at her own middle school. Her partners include the impossibly cool transfer student ΑΩ Nova, who she definitely does not have a crush on, and Midori, a classmate with her own questionable agenda. Each episode is about seven minutes long, and Studio Trigger uses every second of that runtime to cram in absurd action sequences, sight gags, and loving nods to their own catalog — if you've seen Inferno Cop or Kill la Kill, you'll catch the references, but they're not required viewing. The whole thing plays out like a coming-of-age story got thrown into a blender with a sentai show and a love letter to animation itself. If you liked the chaotic energy of Tenchi Muyo or the short-form weirdness of Inferno Cop, this is right in that lane. Thirteen episodes, each barely longer than a coffee break, and genuinely one of the most charming things Trigger has put out.
