Gonna be the Twin-Tail!!
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Twintails: the glory of all mankind—or at least that is what first-year high school student Souji Mitsuka believes. At school, Souji spends most of his time daydreaming and rating girls' twintails, even going as far as creating a club dedicated to the hairstyle. His obsession does not go unnoticed, however; when monsters from outer space attack Earth and claim the world's twintails for themselves, a strange woman named Twoearle enlists Souji to fight back using twintails of his own! By transforming into the twin-tailed warrior Tail Red, Souji combats the vicious alien organization known as Ultimegil, whose main goal is to colonize Earth and steal everyone's spiritual energy, or "attribute power." Alongside fellow twin-tailed fighters Aika Tsube and Erina Shindou, Souji must find a way to defeat the invading army and defend the twintails he holds so dear.

The finale wrapped things up but definitely leaves room for more 🎀 Souji feeling like his twin-tails have forsaken him hit hard. The final battle was intense. The ending kinda assumes a second season which we never got. Still a fun sendoff for this silly but lovable show. The twin-tail love never dies.
Souji looking more grown-up in his new form was a cool visual ✨ But he's still coming up short in fights which is worrying. The others being concerned about him shows how far they've come as a team. The season finale setup is real. One more episode to go.
Spider Guildy is genuinely intimidating 🕷️ The fight ending in a draw felt earned. Tail Red getting dazed by that intense attack had me worried. The animation during the action was crisp. The "bad shape" title makes sense now. This show knows how to raise tension.
The concert episode was tense 🎤 Realizing the idol they've been listening to is actually an enemy was wild. The crowd of thousands being potential hostages raised the stakes massively. The fight during the concert was chaotic and fun. This arc has been surprisingly engaging.
The Erina focus episode was sweet 💖 Her mom pushing her to "straighten up" felt painfully real. Souji having to secretly escort her on a shopping trip was awkward and cute. Their friendship is developing nicely. Also Erina in casual clothes is a look.
Dark Grasper being Twoearle's former fangirl is such a fun twist 😂 Her alter-ego as a twin-tail idol climbing the pop charts is hilarious. The episode balances villain origin and comedy really well. The concert scenes were colorful and energetic. This show keeps getting wilder.
Erina doubting herself hit close to home 💛 Souji trying to work with her while Aika fought alone created nice tension. The dual storyline was well balanced. Seeing Erina finally believe in herself at the end was satisfying. This show has more heart than I expected.
Erina finally joining the team as Tail Yellow was so satisfying 💛 Her arc from jealous rival to teammate is actually sweet. The new enemy reinforcements showing up right as they get their third member feels like classic sentai pacing. The Tail Bracelet lore is getting deeper. Love this goofy show.
This episode got surprisingly serious for a show about hairstyles 😨 Dragguildy's reveal changes how you look at everything. The fight choreography was intense. You can tell the stakes are getting higher. That cliffhanger ending had me immediately clicking next episode.
The secret base reveal was great 🏠 The fight this episode had Souji in real trouble for the first time. Aika stepping up as Tail Blue was hype—her martial arts background makes her perfect for it. The transformation sequence animation is surprisingly smooth. Three warriors now.
The mystery this episode was fun to follow along with 🕵️ Erina being the troll all along was a solid twist. The basement lair full of twin-tail merch was hilarious—she's a whole mood. Seeing Souji disappointed but forgiving felt true to his character. The team is slowly coming together.
The first episode is so absurd but I love it 😂 The animation is colorful and the fights are hype. Souji's obsession with twin-tails is both hilarious and oddly inspiring. The reveal that he turns into a girl when transformed caught me off guard. This is gonna be a fun ride.
The anime came to a fitting end. I honestly thought that it would not be good due to the horrible plot, but the comedy and nicely animated fight scenes managed to save it. Arachne Guildy's voice actor did well on this one as well and reminds me of Weathermon from Shangri-la Frontier. The music for Arachne was also epic, befitting of a last boss.
A good progression to the story with Souji experiencing setbacks to his beliefs and interests as a man. Looking forward to how the next episode unfolds.
Finally, a worthy Elemelian has appeared and made trouble for Tailred, yellow, and blue. It was honestly getting stale since they seemed OP and could defeat Dragguildy class Elemelians.
Another action-packed episode with Souji and Dark Grasper. Plus, it is exciting to see more and more villains introduced to the story. Another thing is that the last bit of the episode was comedic!
A good episode with conflicts regarding characters being solved. I like how Souji stands up and protects his friends.
The comedy is starting to ramp up, especially with Erina making things more chaotic. I also like how more villains are introduced every episode and how there are more stories about Dark Grasper.
It was surprising to see Tailblue that powerful, along with Tailyellow, having that kind of quirk. It is an enjoyable episode all in all with a ton of combat.
We get to see more villains added to their ranks, plus a lot of them look strong. The combat in this episode did not disappoint as well. Soji in a little less spotlight in this episode, and more of Aika one.
