Shizuku and Yui bonding instead of fighting over Gen is genuinely refreshing. A lot of romance anime would milk jealousy for another ten episodes, but this show handles it in a calmer, more adult way

Up until now Gen could hide behind the “camping partner” label, but this episode makes it impossible to ignore how long they’ve emotionally circled each other. Even Gen starts realizing they can’t stay in relationship limbo forever HAHA

The fishing scenes are honestly really good at capturing awkward male bonding. Kai starts off suspicious and defensive, but the quiet atmosphere lets the conversation slowly become more genuine <3

Watching everyone slowly realize how interconnected they are feels like a controlled social disaster unfolding in real time. The secondhand embarrassment is STRONG this episode T_T

Kai instantly brings chaotic sibling energy into the series and completely disrupts the calm atmosphere Gen usually operates in LOL. The protectiveness over Shizuku feels realistic without becoming overly dramatic

Shizuku reflecting on her future gives the episode a more mature emotional angle. Her camping journey isn’t just a hobby anymore, it’s clearly becoming tied to the kind of life she wants to build for herself

This is a very cozy maintenance episode rather than a dramatic one. It doesn’t massively move the story forward, but it reinforces why Gen and Shizuku work so well together. The ending suggests a new character which is something to look forward to <3

The pacing is VERY slow 😭 If someone isn’t already attached to the characters, they’ll probably wonder why everyone online calls this emotional LOL

Gen teaching Shizuku about hard cooler boxes is peak dad hobby energy honestly. The series continues to make camping gear explanations feel weirdly cozy instead of boring

This fully transitions Gen and Shizuku away from the teacher/student setup into something closer to genuine life partners <3

The pacing is still extremely mellow. If someone wants dramatic twists or big romantic confessions, this episode might feel almost too gentle. Most of the emotional payoff comes from subtle relationship progression instead of explosive moments

Him opening up about wanting to build his own campsite is genuinely one of his most vulnerable moments. For Gen, sharing a personal dream is basically more intimate than confessing love 😭

Gen seeming lonely during his solo trip is probably the biggest character progression in the whole episode. Earlier-series Gen would’ve treated solitude like heaven

Yui works much better here than in her introduction episode honestly. Once she stops aggressively pursuing Gen and starts understanding the bond between him and Shizuku, she becomes more likable
