EPISODE REVIEWS

I love this episode. The action, the drama. It picked up right after the first episode and it has not stopped its pace. It's fast, dynamic, but it's not too overwhelming. It gives you just enough time for you to digest what you've been given, then it drops you another lore bomb. It's amazing! I love the slight comedy that's intertwined with it, but I especially love how the action scenes are so smooth. The animation quality is honestly the best I've ever seen in a donghua.

It's a decent continuation from the last one, a nice insight into his powers and the "system" behind it. Though the interaction with the first god and how it unlock its power was certainly pretty interesting, that was a highlight for sure. The action we got in this was pretty stale thanks to the animation looking a little goofy (like a cheap mobile game), but at the very least, this serves to further the plot. Still a lot to uncover pretty much.

Woah! The music is just damn good. I can't believe how well they put the scenes together. The love hotel was so romantic. But I do feel like they highlighted the animation and not yet the plot too much.
