This episode honestly felt a little bit like a fever dream. It went by so quickly. I think because everything happened so quickly, the pacing was quite fast because the events were quite fast-paced. Because of that, everything just felt like it happened within like 10 minutes. I do love the little interaction that we got for Nyx and Lin Qiye. I think that was really cute. I also love how we got a little bit more information about Nyx in this episode. It was super heartwarming to see her again with such a motherly aura, especially since Lin Qiye himself cannot be close or meet with his family right now, so to have that sense of family is be appeased or placated with Nyx, is really nice to see. I also enjoyed the mood shift that happened in the episode. It wasn't abrupt, but it felt sudden. I feel like, we went from a really lighthearted mood to a more fast-paced action kind of mood. It was really interesting to watch. Overall, an amazing episode again. I just felt it felt too short!

The majority of this episode was amazing. I love how Qiye used his abilities in new ways that we have never seen before, it was amazing. The entire fight scene was incredibly beautiful. The visuals were really top-notch. I was in awe and out of breath when I saw them. Of course, the end of the episode was bittersweet in a way. It really brought tears to my eyes. I actually completely forgot about this specific moment. But re-watching this episode really brought back all those emotions and honestly did make me cry a bit. It's such a wholesome, bittersweet end to the episode. It also wraps up this section of the whole arc so well. It shows so much growth and development for Qiye.

This episode was jam-packed. We went from action scene to a moment of respite where I thought the episode was going to go a much calmer route. Then suddenly, we dropped straight into another training arc. Again, the action, the cinematography, the music, the visuals, the overall animation in it is so amazing that it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Also, I love the mini plot twist that we got in the episode. It was super funny, and honestly, I thought it was going to go in a much darker direction than it ended up going in to.

This episode was basically one whole big action scene between so many of, what is to be our main cast of ensemble characters. All the different ways of fighting are so amazing to watch! The tactics of the characters being deployed in action are so amazing! I also love how this action scene was portrayed, it showed the difference from the previous fights. It's much easier to see the range of the various abilities. I also love how there were so many twists at certain points. You expect them to go one way, only for it to go the other. Those subtle twists bring you to the edge of your seat, and keeps you watching with intense concentration. Overall, an amazing episode. The fight scenes, the animation, the music score, all of it just translated to such an amazing episode.

Thus begins a new arc! I love this entire episode. It has just the right amount of comedy, action, and plot. The way the fights were done was so amazing. I love the whole premise of a kind of cadet training arc. It's so, this isn't even like the start of the training, it's just like a preliminary round of weeding out the participants. So good! And I loved how we saw more fights using abilities. It's such a nice way to show various different abilities that exist. Overall, great episode!

Most of this episode was less action-focused and more plot-focused. We're introduced to more characters who all have differing motivations. It's exciting to see how they all mix and interact together. While the episode was less action-focused, it didn't mean we didn't get any good action scenes. I think the few scenes that we did get were spectacular as always. Honestly, this felt more or less like a filler or bridge two story arcs, but the episode was not boring or stale at all.

One of my favorite characters is finally revealed! I remember watching this the first time and reacting exactly like Qiye. Like, what is going on here? But it's so interesting. The rest of the episode is such a good showing of good action scenes, amazing quality in animation, and simply just the musical scores when the fight scenes are happening. It's so good. Honestly, this is just a feast for eyes. I love the pacing. I love everything in it. The story, the continuing storyline, the twist! It was all amazing!

This episode was another heart-wrenching episode. We've slowed down the pacing to match the vibe of the story right now, but we're learning more and more through the eyes of Lin Qiye. The music score for the entire episode was amazingly perfect. It fit the vibe/mood of everything so well. There were fewer action scenes in this episode, but they were still very high in quality. I specifically loved how Qiye isn't too OP like you might have expected. I also love the subtle mysteries and future plots that are being revealed slowly.

miaalamode's avatarmiaalamodeEP 2

I love this episode. The action, the drama. It picked up right after the first episode and it has not stopped its pace. It's fast, dynamic, but it's not too overwhelming. It gives you just enough time for you to digest what you've been given, then it drops you another lore bomb. It's amazing! I love the slight comedy that's intertwined with it, but I especially love how the action scenes are so smooth. The animation quality is honestly the best I've ever seen in a donghua.
