The sleuthing part was entertaining, as well as the dialogue. Overall, the episode's not bad, but not mind-blowing either, nothing too memorable

Pretty familiar tropes but nothing too unique. Arc is hilarious as ever tho haha!

Other than the decent action scenes and comedy, pretty mid narrative tbh skippable methinks

The moment Loberis tried to jump off the cliff was dark, but seeing Arc catch her and tell her to change for the better was a nice touch

Seeing Arc hide in the corner as a decorative suit of armor made me laugh and it worked perfectly while he listened to the old lord ramble

I was so surprised when the maid poured the poison and Ariane saved the bride by pouring it on the flowers because that betrayal cut deep

Watching Ariane take charge of the investigation proves she is the brains while Arc just follows her lead and her catching the parrot trick was impressive

Watching Ariane use that fire spell in the gorge was the coolest part of the episode and the animation for Efreet Breath was great

It felt like a bit of a side quest this week, but seeing Arc save the maid from the cliff at the end was a really nice touch that showed his character. The way he wants people to change for the new era instead of just punishing them felt different from a lot of other shows in this genre.

Arc just eating a whole lobster while everyone else is stressed about assassins is why this show stays funny despite the heavier stuff about racism and hate

Ariane doing all the actual thinking while Arc just follows her around and eats seafood is a fun dynamic since he is way too dense to solve mysteries on his own

That maid reveal caught me off guard because I really thought she was just a victim but she was actually brewing the poison the whole time and that is so messed up

Having an actual wedding between an elf and a human was a nice change of pace even if the father turned out to be a massive jerk
