Episode Context

Sitting at the one-third mark of a 24-episode run, Episode 9 pivots away from the festival competition energy of Episode 8, where Kyoya, μ, and Soji shared the spotlight and Krios began questioning his path, into a deeply personal exploration of June's turmoil. This introspective detour is purposeful, laying essential character groundwork before Episode 10, 'The Sixth SI-VIS,' shakes up group dynamics with a significant new addition.
