Episode Context

Picking up directly from Episode 7's school festival setup, where Kyoya invited Nagi and June's family background surfaced, this episode processes those threads through character interaction and emotional fallout rather than plot escalation. Sitting at the one-third mark of 24 episodes, it functions as a pivotal bridge between the festival arc's lighter energy and the heavier emotional territory teased by Episode 9's title, 'I Want to See Your Gentle Smile Again,' signaling that Krios's internal shift here will have lasting consequences.
