You get such a strong sense of that sticky summer heat and it makes the whole mood of the episode feel way more intense

The animation quality during the scene in his bedroom is surprisingly high and the lighting makes everything look so soft and hazy

I was not expecting the production values to be this high for a random series like this. The way they handle the boundary between the adult video and Ryuuki's reality is actually pretty clever. I liked how the music shifts whenever Kiriru is on screen, because it makes her feel less like a person and more like some weird obsession.

The way the sister looks at him when she walks in is so tense and you can really feel how uncomfortable the situation is getting

Kiriru showing up in his room was bizarre and I loved how the art changed when she finally stepped off the screen

The moment Reiko revealed her true self to Ryuuki was surprising, and seeing her finally act on those years of hidden feelings really changed the whole dynamic between them

Finding out the streamer he was obsessed with is actually the sister he lives with is such a crazy reveal and seeing Reiko go that far was just nuts

I really wasn't expecting Reiko to be the one behind the Kirill mask, and the way she used that persona to lure in Ryuuki was wild. Seeing her finally drop the act and let all those repressed feelings out during their encounter felt so heavy and messed up, but it definitely made the whole summer becoming a man theme hit harder

This version cuts out way too much of the build up from the manga and makes the sister reveal feel a bit rushed compared to how the source material handled it

Reiko finally breaking down and using her streamer identity to seduce Ryuuki was such a dark and messy choice for her character and it came out of nowhere

I was fascinated by the contrast between the sister Reiko and her Kirill persona because she basically created a whole different human just to satisfy those hidden urges

Reiko being Kirill all along was actually insane because the way she changed her whole personality to get with her brother was just so twisted

The manga definitely felt like it had more depth with Reiko and her internal struggle but seeing the big reveal animated still had a pretty strong impact

The title really makes sense now that Ryuuki is finally crossing that line with his own sister and seeing him lose that innocence with Reiko was intense

I was shocked when Reiko finally dropped the act and showed Ryuuki who she really was and the way he just accepted it felt like a total turning point for him

Ryuuki being so obsessed with an actress who is literally living in his house is the craziest part of this and the way she toys with him is just brutal

I thought the manga handled the reveal of Kiriru being the sister better but the animation during the actual spicy scenes in this episode was way more intense than I expected

That public encounter was risky to watch, but it definitely fits the exhibitionist theme they've been building up since the first part.

EPISODE CONTEXT

At the midpoint of this four-episode series, Episode 2 functions as the turning point, moving beyond the groundwork laid in the premiere and pushing the protagonist into deeper internal conflict. Where Episode 1 established the circumstances of his transition, this episode interrogates the cost of that change. It directly sets up the emotional stakes that Episodes 3 and 4 will need to resolve.
