For a finale this was not what I was expecting - honestly it was underwhelming. I have no words to describe my disappointment.

For all the build up from the last episode, the final battle was pretty underwhelming. Not really a whole lot of fighting, mainly just them trying to reason with each other. With how the battle played out, it just fell flat of what I was expecting. In short, this huge, world-changing battle it was hyped up to be didn't really change anything. The second half is just the characters getting on with their lives and preparing for their next battles.Overall, this anime wasn't terrible, but it wasn't that amazing either. It was sluggish and confusing to follow. It has its share of great moments, but for the most part, it fell a bit short for me. At the very least, it did make want to check out the other Sengoku Basara anime, which I will! One thing left to say, from the words of Date Masamune - "Let's Party!"

I personally didn't enjoy the fight between Ieyasu and Ishida. It's more about emotions, drama, and dialogue more than the actual action. I expected a good fight because it's the finale.
