There is actually a greater danger out there and it is not just the hitmen that are after Taro.We get a more understanding of the organization that Taro and Shin used to work for which then brings more understanding to the series.

This episode feels more like a reunion vibe than a grudge. Huge salute to the antagonists’ character developments, so wholesome. The real deal is about to start. The classic animation quality is consistent, especially during the fighting scenes. pure hard-boiled energy!

Things get kinda serious here—bigger plot starts kicking in. Some off-screen cleanup happens, but it hints at a larger threat. Feels like setup for new villains, so it’s more build-up than payoff, but still interesting.

The rematch wasn't crazy sakuga or anything, but it had hype moments and showed sakamoto isn't touchable anymore. we also get some Order members teased and more mystery around slur. comedy's still in place. not the flashiest episode, but it builds things nicely.

I love how quickly the story is developing while still delivering great comedic moments. But who is Nagumo really? Even though he’s a bit funny every time he meets Sakamoto, his aura still feels somewhat villainous.

Finally, a fight where Sakamoto stops playing around. It’s clean. It’s sharp. You see flashes of why he used to be feared. But even then, he still feels relaxed. It’s scary how easy he makes it look.

Wow, I genuinely never expected that Sakamoto will have that kind of plot twist! And we even see how headstrong his wife is, which easily solved all the "sneaking around" they've been doing for the past four episodes while also advancing the plot.

Sakamoto losing weight to fight = most satisfying power-up that requires zero magic. The fact that his strength literally comes from protecting family is so pure it hurts. Obiguro letting everyone go out of RESPECT for Lu's drunk fighting? She stays winning. ORDER incoming 👀

Nagumo's introduction flips the power dynamic completely. Watching Sakamoto genuinely struggle against someone faster is thrilling. The lip-reading gag is hilarious but the underlying tension never drops. Sakamoto Days proves it can be serious too.

Funny episode on how drunk Lu beats her enemies and it was an emotional roller coaster wahaha. And man, Skinnymoto absolutely whooped the ever-living hell outta Boiled, then right after they’re cool again like nothing happened. And a cute scene where Hana gives cute bandaids ahk

A dark story and turn here and there. Be hold, backstories telling. Sakamoto, Shin, and Xiaotang wander around, to find clues of menacing assassin clubs. And more clues. For me 6/10 watch

Some fans will love knowing Taro isn’t a complete powerhouse. Hopefully, we can receive an episode or two of his training and those of the others. On the other hand, the chapter introduces fans to some of The Order.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the Sugar Park ambush in Episode 4, this fifth episode marks the halfway point of the season and pivots from reactive survival into a larger conflict by introducing The Order, an elite assassin group that expands the threat landscape considerably. Sakamoto's duel with Boiled deepens the consequences of his former life catching up with him. The groundwork laid here — new factions, escalating danger, and Sakamoto's resolve being tested — clearly sets up the back half of the season's major confrontations.
