Episode 1 instantly made me fall in love. The way they introduced the main character was so well done, and the chemistry felt natural and effortless. The comedy was on peak, the timing hit perfectly. It balanced action and slice of life really well. Such a strong opening.
this is an action comedy that you need! the humor doesn't come from jokes alone, but from visual and tonal contrast, giving a comfortable pacing. violence is stylized, humor is undrstandable, and Sakamoto succed to introduce himself from a pro hitman to a typical family man
Just watched the first episode of Sakamoto Days, and I’m already hooked. The contrast between Sakamoto’s peaceful family life and his deadly assassin past is hilarious and exciting. Great action, clean animation, and solid pacing—definitely staying on my watch list.
It blends comedic slice-of-life moments with sharp, creative action, highlighting a strong relationship setup between Sakamoto and the psychic assassin Shin.
Episode 1 was such a fun start! The action scenes were smooth and creative, but what made it better was the mix of comedy and heart. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, which makes it easy to enjoy. It’s a strong first episode that definitely makes you want to keep watching.
The pilot skillfully blends action with a surprising twist, showing a renowned hitman becoming a shopkeeper for love. This mix of danger and domesticity creates a fresh, engaging story that hooks viewers while hinting at compelling character development ahead.
Fast, stylish, and effortlessly fun. The premiere blends sharp action with light comedy, delivering slick choreography and strong momentum right out the gate. A confident start that hooks you with energy and keeps things moving.
Progresses slower and less engaging than the premise promises. At lease for me.
Pilot episode this good? 🔥No way. A retired hitman with a dad bod casually reminding everyone he’s still HIM is peak 😎It’s 90% cute wholesomeness and 10% action—but that 10% is absolutely mind-blowing..Funny, stylish, and instantly addictive.
I certainly didn't expect that the story is about armory, action packed and with touch of comedy. I love Sakamoto handles the family life, life that any father wants for his family. This is the peak male physique forged from years of being a Dad. Exciting cinematic moves.
What a total knockout of an episode. A hitman turned shopkeeper vibe is peak dad-core. Seeing him use convenience store items for different means with tor tier animation is a joy to watch. High stakes action meets feel good comedy.
Didn't expect Shin to became employee at sakamoto's store 😅
The humor lands perfectly, the action is surprisingly creative. The manga is amazing, but watching the anime makes it feel truly alive the fight scenes and expressions just bring everything to another level. It’s a fresh, fun mix of comedy and action that’s hard not to get hooked
