EPISODE REVIEWS

This episode symbolizes the quality time with family. The tone was heartwarming yet a little concerning as Furuta wanted some bonding moments but was totally ignored. This situation reminded me of Uchiyamada of GTO, when he wanted the best for his family but they couldn't see his effort. The artwork was simple and retro, but the animation was smooth.

Thought this one would comedic one but when it turned into some serious stuff, I really felt for Furuta- san! I like how the makers took the real world example and executed so well that you can see your reflection there! Emily was one one charcter every person need in their life. The family bonds were so real and it completely immerse into their world. Hope this series tutns out be great!

This episode was surprisingly moving. What started as a series of hilarious misunderstandings involving Furuta, a salaryman suffering from amnesia, and a high school girl named Emily gradually unfolded into a heartfelt story about family, loneliness, and sacrifice. I really liked how the comedy slowly gave way to an emotional realization, and I'm glad everything worked out for Furuta and his family in the end.
