EPISODE REVIEWS

Another meaningful writing from Rumiko Takahashi. This episode implied the value of marriage, its shortcomings, and priorities. The tone was definitely somber, especially the feelings conveyed by Yukari. The first half was definitely chaotic and hilarious, but as the plot progressed, the tone became serious and emotional. Shipping my boat for Bettou and Yukari, though.

Since it's anthology series, it had different, standalone story. This was so heartwarming and thought provoking one. The writing was too good and the animation was spot on! I like how they contradicted two different relationships at the same time... Yukari was such a brave girl! It was like instant connection to her character. The pacing was very smooth and I like the side characters here. Definately, recommend for a slow, relax pace

Since it's an anthology, this episode focused on Yukari as she managed the villa her father left her as an inheritance, turning it into a wedding venue. Despite all her efforts, the business still ended up going bankrupt. I also found it ironic how she longed for a happy marriage while organizing what could be the villa's last wedding event. Hopefully, she'll eventually find someone who truly makes her feel loved, cherished, and like an equal partner in life.
