EPISODE REVIEWS
It's a very strange mix of different genres (slice of life, magical girls, battle royale, etc.) but it works surprisingly well. While the story needs more context for the viewers to get some bearings with, there is enough intrigue to get them invested with the characters and setting as the show goes on. But the best part is always the music, and that's almost given considering the theme of this anime. The action scenes are awesome as well, animations are smooth and the color pallete is bright and dazzling. Looking forward to seeing more, this series is starting with a blast.
I love, love, love this anime so much! I was in the Revue Starlight fandom from the start, and I'm so happy to be rewatching this with my girlfriend (it's her first time watching). It may seem a bit simple at the start, but please! Watch until the end! The music, the animation, the production—chef's kiss!
