It's a very strange mix of different genres (slice of life, magical girls, battle royale, etc.) but it works surprisingly well. While the story needs more context for the viewers to get some bearings with, there is enough intrigue to get them invested with the characters and setting as the show goes on. But the best part is always the music, and that's almost given considering the theme of this anime. The action scenes are awesome as well, animations are smooth and the color pallete is bright and dazzling. Looking forward to seeing more, this series is starting with a blast.
