Episode Context

Occult-comedy shifts into a school-day setting as Dara-san watches Kaoru Misogiya’s ordinary routines from an outsider’s perspective. The pacing moves briskly between uneasy visual setups, broad misunderstandings, and moments of unexpectedly tender concern. Dara-san’s formidable supernatural abilities appear less as spectacle and more as anxious, overprotective surveillance, setting her frightening presence against increasingly guardian-like behavior. Kaoru stays the episode’s social center, while Hinata Misogiya grounds the warmer side of the siblings’ relationship with Dara-san. Naomichi Fudegi and Miwa Irako contribute distinctly eccentric adult energy to the school comedy. Beneath the lighthearted school material, brief glimpses of Dara-san’s painful past give the episode a darker emotional undercurrent, keeping the horror element alive without overwhelming the humor.
