An episode that has a sharp rivalry dynamic with pacing. The animation choices stand out during an intense training montage, using rhythmic, echoing metal-clashing sound design paired with crisp, motion-blurred blade streaks across the courtyard.
The arrogant, provocative attitude of the opponent was so annoying but perfect, it really showed how effective the character is. Visually, the spellcasting duels had great clarity, emphasizing the fast, strategic hand movements beautifully.
I'd say not much happened in this episode, despite the hint that we would get broom fighting - another HP classic. Instead, we get some insight on at least 3 characters and a challenge/competition with this so called Rossi. Whatever we ended up seeing was fun. But I'm not sure what the goal of it all was, except for the teaser at the end and more of Oliver's fighting style.
