This episode is the meaning of intense, high-energy magical sparring. The graphics are remarkably sharp during the spellcasting sequences, displaying complex geometric magic circles that glow intensely right before detonating with heavy environmental impact
The animation really focuses on those fast hand movements and strict spacing, which makes every spell feel incredibly calculated. The effects are crisp too, so you actually track the strategy instead of it just being random flashes.
Looks like the troll is now part of the group, interesting change of setting. Especially with the labyrinth workshop and seeing Milligan again - definitely fun to watch. But most interestingly, covering Stacy's backstory with Michela's is fine and all, but it feels weak. I don't think it was necessary. At least that's how I feel at the moment. At very least, thanks to this Albright person, we get to learn more about the labyrinth itself.
