EPISODE REVIEWS

The premise is essentially the same as the last episode. The characters are again struggling to accept their new reality as killers at night. They are, however, trying to make the most of the situation, save for Rachel anyways, who is still breaking down at the thought of it. There's also a surprising twist at the end that may finally motivate the girls to finally embrace this new work. Slow-paced like the last episode, but also every bit as emotional.

Every time I think the girls are finally getting used to everything, this anime goes "lol nope." I really like that nobody acts fearless because who would? The emotional pressure just keeps piling up, and it makes every decision feel like it actually matters.

Ok, that wasn't that bad, the progression felt better than the previous chapters and we finally get introduced to what would make the group actually keep fighting over giving up.
