Wow, talk about a bombshell. I assumed Paula protected Kate this whole time just because she's a real good friend. This episode showcases she's more than meets the eye. We're also finally seeing Rose step up after being scared for so long. Thank goodness too because I was getting annoyed by her at this point, but finally, some redemption! A lot of development in this episode, and it's one of my favorites so far.
I swear this anime is allergic to taking the easy route and I love it for that. Instead of giving us some cheesy power up moment, it keeps everything grounded in the characters themselves. By this point I wasn't even watching for the mystery anymore, I just wanted these girls to catch one break... which probably means they're not getting one.
Very good progress this episode, we get to see the girls being a more cohesive group while fighting and Rose finally started putting more effort for herself. Herve keeps being an interesting character for sure, I'm curious as to where he'll end up.
