EPISODE REVIEWS

I was expecting a typical supernatural setup but nah this episode just throws you into pure confusion and somehow it works. The atmosphere is so unsettling that I didn't even care I had zero answers yet. Kate and the others already feel like actual people instead of anime archetypes.

First episode in, and if I'm honest, I wasn't really into it. It's confusing to follow since it switches over to multiple scenes and the main characters in a short time. I also didn't really get what was going on for the most part, mostly melodrama. It does start to come together as the episode progresses and there's a crazy twist at the end. I do like dark and gritty anime, so despite the rather lackluster pilot episode, I am intrigued. let's hope the momentum picks up from here!

Not a bad start but doesn't particularly catch my interest yet. I think is just slow enough to feel boring and the only moments that stand out are the very start and the very end of the episode where most of the mystery gets set up. The premise is not bad so I hope it gets better from now on.
