Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon Season 3
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A vending machine obsessive dies and gets reincarnated as an actual vending machine in a fantasy dungeon world. That's the premise, and somehow it works. Boxxo can't move on his own, can't speak except in pre-programmed vending machine phrases like "Please insert coins" and "Thank you for your purchase," and his entire skill set revolves around dispensing snacks and drinks. A strong young huntress named Lammis finds him in a monster-filled forest, straps him to her back, and carries him around like the world's most inconvenient backpack. Together they become a surprisingly effective duo in the settlement of Clearflow Lake, where Boxxo wins over the local community one canned coffee at a time. Now in its third season as a TV series airing in 2026, this comedy has had time to really lean into what makes it charming: the absurd problem-solving that comes from being a literal box with no limbs. If you liked the creative power-building in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime or the comedic isekai energy of KonoSuba, this hits a similar nerve but with an even more ridiculous starting point. It's lighter than something like Re:Zero, staying firmly in comedic territory while still finding genuine heart in Boxxo's relationships. The whole thing is built on one joke that has no business sustaining a multi-season run, and yet here we are, still watching a vending machine navigate dungeon politics.

Boxxo and Field interactions are so cute and hilarious! Not sure how serious the bouquet moment was but I’ll just go with it lmao
I didn't expect the action scenes here to be that good, even with the comedic moments 😆 everything is consistently unhinged. Great show!
This anime is outrageous til the end but that fight was entertaining, as well as the resolution! The last scene was heartwarming nicely done too
Hearing the cast talk about how Lammis and Hakkon have grown over four years was a nice touch before the big climax and the production quality in the montage looked incredible for the finale
The bit about Fukuyama Jun wanting a vending machine for prepaid cards just to avoid social awkwardness is the most relatable thing ever and now the wait for the finale feels much longer
I didn't expect a talk show episode today, but seeing the life-sized Hakkon cutout on set made me smile. The cast seems to care about these characters as much as we do
It is wild that a show about a vending machine made it to three seasons and hearing the actors talk about the final showdown makes the wait for the Netherlord fight even harder
Seeing the voice actors get so hyped for the final battle makes the anticipation for the Netherlord fight go through the roof and that story about the giant fried chicken was funny because it explains the food obsession in the show and hearing about the internal monologue in the opening theme really adds a lot of weight to the character of Hakkon
That bath salt vending machine idea from Tokui Sora is something I actually need in my life and it was cool seeing the cast reflect on four years of this crazy journey
The story about Aihara losing her keys on the first day was hilarious, and her panic made the whole team bond much faster. It makes the upcoming fight against the Netherlord feel even more personal
I forgot this was a special talk episode but seeing Fukuyama Jun talk about the opening monologue made me appreciate the show more and hearing Hakkon talk in the intro makes him feel like a real hero now
Watching the cast eat fried chicken bigger than their heads was the highlight and it really explains why the food looks so good in the show as the final battle against the Netherlord looms
Didn't expect the turn of events with those summons. But the firework moment was hilarious haha! Field's finishing move was also a highlight here
Solid pacing, the Netherlord is really pulling all the stops. Can't wait to see how Boxxo and the gang maneuver out of this situation
Intense fight kicks off, Field is definitely my fave character lmao. His ideas are so out-of-pocket!
A literal patch of dirt with eyebrows was not on my list for today and the way he uses apple juice to win over a kingdom is genius
I lost it when Hatake did a handshake with the Demon King using a hand made of soil and the fact that a field has a harem is just too much
A sentient field getting caught in a harem with Lord Jessica and a necromancer is the weirdest thing this show has done and the strawberry distraction was the only way out for poor Hatake
Watching the Demon King and Uwan lose their minds over Hatake's apple juice was such a funny scene because it showed how simple crops can actually shift the power of a whole kingdom, and I really felt for Hatake when he got cornered by those three girls because being a field in a harem is a hilarious nightmare that only this show could pull off
Hatake turning his soil into a handshake for the Demon King was a great touch and that apple juice reaction was hilarious since the demons looked like they were in heaven over some fruit
