I lost it when Hatake did a handshake with the Demon King using a hand made of soil and the fact that a field has a harem is just too much

A literal patch of dirt with eyebrows was not on my list for today and the way he uses apple juice to win over a kingdom is genius

A sentient field getting caught in a harem with Lord Jessica and a necromancer is the weirdest thing this show has done and the strawberry distraction was the only way out for poor Hatake

Watching the Demon King and Uwan lose their minds over Hatake's apple juice was such a funny scene because it showed how simple crops can actually shift the power of a whole kingdom, and I really felt for Hatake when he got cornered by those three girls because being a field in a harem is a hilarious nightmare that only this show could pull off

Hatake turning his soil into a handshake for the Demon King was a great touch and that apple juice reaction was hilarious since the demons looked like they were in heaven over some fruit

The way Hakkon turned into a Jurassic Park vendor just to give Hyurumi a raincoat shows he is still the best support and the burnt forest mystery really raises the stakes for the next fight

I did not expect the pacing to be well done here. And the dialogue and animation elevated each scene perfectly. Gold mine of comedy right here

Istg this anime is so unserious when they decide to be T^T and they made the really common tropes not cringey in the slightest. Awesome execution overall

Wow I did not expect this episode to be this hilarious 🤣 solid comedic writing, and the visuals didn't hold back either. Field looks hecking ridiculous but it somehow works!

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off episode 9's introduction of a formidable new antagonist, episode 10 broadens the series' universe by establishing Field's role and laying out the political groundwork surrounding the Demon Lord. With only two episodes remaining, this entry functions as a crucial setup chapter, positioning alliances and conflicts that will drive the season's closing confrontation with the Netherlord.
